Belly Dance Every Day - Head Slides

A head slide is basically moving your head from side to side. Start by raising your arms over your head and placing your palms together (like you are praying). Your elbows should be slightly soft so that your arms are framing your face and your hands are a few inches above your head. Slowly slide your head to the right - moving your ear towards your arm and keeping your chin on a flat plane. Slide back to the middle and then to the left. Repeat to a count of eight. Watch yourself in a mirror so that you can be sure you are keeping your moves flat instead of tilting your chin and that you are not moving your head forward and back. Try to keep your face relaxed and your shoulders from tensing up.
